5 Wondrous Blue Holes

Blue Hole is an underwater cave. They're also called vertical caves. There's many Blue Holes across our planet, like in Bahama and in Belize.
Blue Hole is usually circular, steep-walled, and named for the color blue is older than the surrounding waters due to the shallower. The lack of Blue Hole circulation that makes it poor of oxygen, and generally anoxic exist in a certain depth so that it can not support life, except for a large number of bacteria.
The world's deepest blue hole reaches 203 meters (663 feet). it's Dean's Blue Hole which located in Clarence Town on long island, Bahama. Well, here are five wondrous Blue Holes in the world.

1. Great Blue Hole – Belize

Great Blue Hole is the largest ocean holes (with the widest diameter) off the coast of Belize. This Blue Hole is located near the center of Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll (a ring-shaped island) about 70 kilometers (43 miles) from the mainland and Belize City. The hole is circular, with a diameter of more than 300 meters (984 feet) and has a depth of 124 meters (407 feet). Great Blue Hole is formed during the last ice age when sea levels are much lower. Results Analysis of stalactites found in the Great Blue Hole suggests that the formation occurred 153 000, 66,000, 60,000, and 15,000 years ago. When the ice age ended, sea levels rise and the caves are submerged in water. The Great Blue Hole is the largest part of the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, a World Heritage Site (UNESCO).

2. Dean’s Blue Hole – Long Island

The world's most deepest Blue Hole is Dean's Blue Hole, with a depth of about 202 meters (663 ft) and reach the 35 meter diameter circle. This Dean's Blue Hole is located in the western Gulf of Clarence Town on Long Island, Bahamas. In April 2010, William Trubridge makes the world record free diving in the Blue Hole reaching a depth of 92 meters (302 feet) without using fins. On December 14, 2010, he swam to a depth of 101 meters by using only the hands and feet, while many divers use weights to speed up into the deepest area or use the inflatable bag to carry them to the surface quickly.

3. Red Sea Blue Hole – The Read Sea

One more of the most famous is the Blue Hole on the edge of the red sea that it had reached 120 meters and 26 meters long tunnel. This tunnel is known as The Arc because many divers who want to explore this undersea tunnel but it is difficult and many accidents happen at the time of diving. Therefore, this Blue Hole is becoming the most dangerous place for divers. Egyptian authorities claim that 40 divers have died at this site. But many local dive guides believe that the authorities did not say the numbers correctly. And for the truth is there are at least double casualties from the casualties that have mentioned. The most famous accident (and captured on video) in this Blue Hole is Yuri Lipski, an Israel-Russian diver who died at a depth of 91.6 meters below the surface. Lipski is a victim of inexperience and lack of proper equipment.

 4. The Blue Hole, Gozo

It is the most popular dive site on the islands. the mouth to Malta’s Blue Hole starts at 7 m deep, it's located within the blue hole is a cave at 15 meters below. Divers can swim through a short tunnel, or chimney, to get to a different area within the hole which has great coral gardens and reefs teeming with marine life.

5. The Blue Cave, Korcula

You’ll find Modra Spilja, Just off the coast of Korcula, one of Croatia’s biggest islands. the blue hole is entered at 9 m below the surface of the waves and reaches a depth of 35 m, accessible only by boat. It is more easily lit up by the sun's rays, making visibility easier and the dive all the more pleasant. sponges and corals line the walls, along with giant red, and marine life, making it one of Croatia’s top dive spots.
